Invitation

INTER-NOISE 2012, the 41st International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering, will be held in New York City, USA, from 19-22 August 2012. The Congress is sponsored by the International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE), and is being organized by the United States Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE-USA).

The theme of the congress is Quieting the World's Cities, and we plan to hold special workshops highlighting city noise codes, and the New York City noise code in particular.

INTERNOISE-2012 will be held at the New York City Marriott Marquis, a five star property in the heart of Times Square in Manhattan. A large block of rooms has been negotiated at highly competitive rates.

We anticipate a large, broad program of sessions on a variety of acoustics and noise topics. As usual, a large exposition of vendors offering noise control materials, software, and measurement devices will be held. The details of the conference are still being determined, and we will update this website as key dates, such as abstract submission and paper deadlines, are set. We look forward to welcoming you to New York City in August 2012!
